Move a reply to a follow-up sequence
Short answer
Open the reply in the Engager and click Reply With A Sequence. Choose the follow-up sequence, choose the recipient (the same contact, or New for someone they referred you to), choose when to send, adjust the email and click Send.
Why use follow-up sequences
Most replies to a campaign fall into a few types: interested, ask me later, talk to my colleague, not now. Campaigns convert best when you have a ready follow-up sequence for each type, so you can answer fast with a tested email and keep the follow-ups going automatically.
Send the same contact to a follow-up sequence
-
Open the reply in the Engager and click Reply With A Sequence. Older versions of LeadJabber call this button Forward, and some dialogs still show the option Forward this e-mail to a new sequence.
-
Choose the follow-up sequence, for example one for booking a meeting.
-
For the recipient, check Same as origin, which shows the contact’s name and address.
-
Choose when to send. For a contact who asked you to get back in two months, schedule it. To answer now, check Activate instantly.
-
If the email allows personalisation, adjust it to fit what the contact wrote.
-
Click Send. LeadJabber offers a log note that is filled in for you, which you can edit.
Send someone they referred you to
-
Open the reply and click Reply With A Sequence, then choose a sequence made for referrals.
-
In the contact field, click New. LeadJabber suggests email addresses found in the reply, or you can type one. Add the first and last name and click Continue.
-
Fill in the rest of the contact details and click Save. The new contact is selected as the recipient.
-
Choose when to send, adjust the email if needed and click Send.
Switch on Use personalization options when available for the emails in your follow-up sequences. Then you can tailor each answer to what the contact actually wrote.
When to contact support
Contact us if the follow-up sequence does not send after you click Send. Email support@leadjabber.com with the contact’s email address and the sequence name.
