LeadJabber does not send from an unverified email address
Short answer
LeadJabber only sends from an email address whose domain is verified in your email gateway. Under User Profile, Email Accounts, a verified address has a green check mark and an unverified one has a cross. Authenticate the domain in SendGrid, click Verify, and make sure every record shows as verified.
What you see
Under User Profile, Email Accounts, the account is marked with a cross instead of a green check mark, and LeadJabber does not send from it.
Why LeadJabber blocks sending
Email sent from a domain that is not verified in your email gateway would not be delivered. LeadJabber therefore does not send from the address until the domain is verified. SendGrid itself does not send from the domain until every record is verified either.
Causes and fixes
1. The domain is not authenticated in SendGrid
The domain of the address has not been set up under Sender Authentication in SendGrid.
Fix: Follow Authenticate your domain in SendGrid.
2. The records are added, but Verify has not been clicked
SendGrid only marks the domain as verified after it has checked the records, and that check starts when you click Verify. This applies even when the records are already correct.
Fix: In SendGrid, open Settings > Sender Authentication, open the domain and click Verify.
3. Verification fails in SendGrid
One or more DNS records are wrong or missing.
Fix: See DKIM verification fails in SendGrid.
4. The address is on another domain
Verification applies to one domain. An address or alias on a different domain, for example a second company domain, needs its own domain authentication.
Fix: Authenticate that domain in SendGrid as well.
